Welcome


The East Mount Airy Neighbors Association (EMAN) is a community organization committed to:
  • Cooperating with local organizations, individuals and businesses located in, or having an interest in, the community of East Mount Airy
  • Facilitating whenever problems arise in the area, seeking solutions that will be of greatest mutual benefit
  • Promoting projects and public improvements that encourage positive growth and development in the community, and make it a better place in which to live
  • Encouraging and supporting legislation that will accomplish the above objectives
  • Providing a means of friendly communication, mutual understanding, information and education to bring about the above objectives.
The neighborhood of East Mount Airy is defined by these borders and surrounding neighborhoods:
    Germantown Avenue on the West (West Mount Airy)
    Stenton Avenue to the East (Cedarbrook)
    Cresheim Valley Drive to the North (Chestnut Hill)
    Washington Lane to the South (Germantown)

Events


EMAN's regular Community/Board meeting
will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 6th, 2010.
Meetings are held at the EMAN office on the campus of
the Lutheran Theological Seminary, & are open to the public.

Our office is staffed most weekday mornings,
& we check info@eastmountairy.org regularly.


 
Our Annual Membership Campaign began in July.

Rep. Cherelle Parker Town Meeting
State Rep. Cherelle Parker will hold her annual Town Meeting on Thursday, March 11 at 7PM, in the Brossman Bldg. on the campus of the Lutheral Theological Seminary. This meeting provides valuable info. about services provided by state, federal & local gov't, as well as other public entities. Rep. Parker will answer questions about neighborhood quality-of-life issues, & about services provided by her office.

Celebrate the coming of Spring (or, at least, the end of Hibernation Season!) with friend & neighbors at First Friday. Our local shops, businesses & eateries are thinking Spring, & looking forward to seeing you.

EMAN's "Saturday Night Fever in East Mt. Airy" dance party/fundraiser is still on! The LTSP parking areas will be cleared, the food will be great, the bar will be stocked! The the URBAN GUERILLA ORCHESTRA is ready to rock! There will be some tickets available at the door.......please join us!
